Recovery & Support

Blowdown Water Recovery

Waste does not exist. That is why we aim to reuse as much as possible, including blowdown water. By treating this water thoroughly, up to 94 percent can be recovered, water that was previously discharged as waste.Instead of sending blowdown to the sewer, it is collected in a buffer basin. Using Blowdown Water Recovery, the water is treated again, first removing suspended solids and then dissolved substances. After these filtration steps, the recovered water is reintroduced as fresh make up water. This allows the water to be reused as cooling water, closing the loop and significantly reducing overall water consumption.

Clean-in-place

Clean in place is a method for cleaning the internal surfaces of pipes, vessels, process equipment, filters and associated fittings without the need for disassembly. Its key advantages are speed, repeatability and a low level of manual labour. In addition, reduced handling of chemicals improves overall safety. At Pathema, CIP is integrated into a fully automated control system. Based on continuous measurements, the system evaluates installation performance and determines when cleaning is required. Once that moment is reached, the system automatically schedules the CIP at the most suitable time. Thanks to the use of buffer tanks, continuous production is maintained, even while a CIP cycle is being carried out.

Plug & Play

To maximise flexibility and design freedom, Pathema can deliver its installations in one or more 20 or 40 foot containers if desired. These containerised systems are fully prepared, assembled and tested off site, and delivered to your facility as plug and play solutions.Piping connections, power supply and access doors are prefabricated in line with your requirements. Additional systems such as water buffers, storage tanks and CIP units can also be fully integrated into the container design, ensuring minimal installation work and disruption at your site.
